How to Collect Your Award


CRITERIA
Scholarships are paid upon completion of a semester or quarter.
     A scholarship recipient must maintain a 2.00 GPA in a college or vocational school and must be a full time student with a minimum of 12 credits.  Graduate students that are considered full time, with less than 12 credits, must provide verification from their school of full time status.  Courses on a pass/fail basis may be considered if they apply to a particular academic area.
     Students enrolled in a college or vocational school on a QUARTER OR TRIMESTER basis will receive one-third of your scholarship at the end of each term.
     Scholarships for students enrolled in a college or vocational school on a SEMESTER basis will receive one-half of your scholarship at the end of each semester.

RECEIVING THE SCHOLARSHIP

    Scholarship checks will be mailed to each eligible recipient after the following has been received by the foundation:

A self-addressed envelope.
      An official college transcript. 

Grades off the Internet will not be accepted.
Paper work not received by June 30, 2011 will result in forfeiture of scholarship.

     A check will be issued to you within two weeks upon receipt of the above documents.    All “incompletes” must be made up before any awards will be made.  The scholarship must be used during the 2010-2011 academic year.

NON-QUALIFICATION FOR SCHOLARSHIP

Grade point average below a “C” or 2.00.
Fewer than 12 credits of 100 level.
Non-attendance of school.

     If you are unfortunate enough to be ineligible to receive your scholarship or if you change your plans and decide not to attend school, please notify the Sweet Educational Foundation, in writing, IMMEDIATELY.  If we do not hear from you by June 30, 2011, you have forfeited your scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year.
